In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6

Winter weary cold and dreary

How is it going everyone?  What a break in my ramblings and for that I am sorry.  I recently located my long lost camera and decided it was time for the world to see how these munchkins have changed and boy have they.  Sawyer is by far my never ending always on the verge of a major accident child.  Praise the Lord for His protection.  Charlie and Quinn have been busy preparing for the school play learning their lines and perfecting their new calling.  Charlie will be playing dogwood (a tree who barks) and Quinn will be a selfish (sel-fish) I can hardly wait.  Gideon has really been changing and developing into such a compassionate little heart.  He is really enjoying Sawyer's newfound interest in his brother.  Little mini-gid for the boy feels he needs to do everything Gideon does.
Recently we purchased our meat chickens for the year, 40 to be exact and they have now found their home to be the barn for they are way too stinky for the kitchen.  Scott is busy getting all the equipment ready for the new year of farming and I have been trying to balance it all.  Sometimes it doesn't always get balanced but as long as I throw in my best effort I feel I'm doing pretty well.  Getting ready to lead a ladies lesson at church on choices.  The choice we have to speak wisely.  Whoa that sentence is power packed, needless to say I have learned so much from this study.  How do I guard my tongue to allow my voice to be a positive influence and not be swayed by wordly influence?  I need to examine my heart and learn to listen more.  I am reminded of the great story of Mary and Martha and how the Lord called out Martha for being such a busybody and not just sitting and listening and learning from her Saviour.  I need to be more like Mary and just be still and know my Saviour more.  Looking so forward to the spring and getting ready for the garden. Take care.
God is good all the time
