Hey everyone,
Sorry about the long absence. I have been very busy and my little friend the internet has not been cooperative. The weather is getting warmer and my tummy is getting bigger which is bittersweet. Charlie enjoys telling the baby how big and chubby he is getting, actually in her words "how are you doing in there you big chubby whubby baby?" I think that she is looking forward to the little one. Quinn had her big 4 year old birthday which I have been trying to prepare her for since now she will be more mature (heehee). She informed me the other day "mom I really am not that big, I'm kind of little." It's hard to believe my little diva is 4. She tends to think the world operates on Quinn time. She even thought that the cat who had a baby right before her birthday knew that she had wanted a kitten for her big day.
Well the Heyboer's, well I should say Scott is now underway on all the craziness of farming. Most nights he works on his equipment till 12 and then gets up at 5. This will all come to an end when the baby gets here. Somedays I think we can't operate without chaos. I wouldn't have it any other way.
We had revival meetings this week at church which were so great. Pastor Coyle preached on many topics but the one that really spoke to my heart was the one on the family and raising children as a process of training. As a parent I think I get myself in trouble when I can't understand why they don't learn from their mistakes after the 20th time of making the same mistake. Duh, how long does it take me to learn some important lesson? Constantly the Lord sends something my way that I didn't learn the last time He tried teaching me. It's all a process. I pray someday when they are older if they love the Lord and lean on Him and aren't afraid to tell others about His saving grace then I will have done my job as a parent. No pressure right? It's all in the Lord's hands and He knows what is best. Life is so much easier if I just let Him control it all. My job is just to obey.

Bring on the Blue
It's official we're having a boy. Yeah!!!!!!! The girls went with us and were quite surprized when they heard the news. Quinn was a bit let down, she really wanted a baby sister. The baby looked really healthy and had all his little organs and parts. We managed to get a picture with him pointing his little hand up with his pointer finger out. He already thinks he's number one. Charlie is set on the name "tweety" I am not so sure that is in the runnings. I think we settled on a name today but you will have to wait for the arrival of little "tweety" to find out. Well I'll keep you all updated.
