Well the great day of Sawyer James entering this world has finally arrived. This labor by far was the hardest and craziest but with the Lord all things are possible and He got me through it. I was in labor for 2 days on and off and very frustrated that things weren't moving along. Then about midnight Sunday night he decided he was serious about coming out. Our midwife arrived about 1:30am and we had the little man at 3:55am, so really hard labor was pretty short. He weighed in at 11lbs 14oz and 20 inches long and just barely fit in my midwife's scale. He is so healthy and chubby and we are all so thankful to the Lord for His mercy and graciousness in allowing me and Sawyer to stay healthy and safe during the delivery. Thanks to everyone who prayed we really appreciated it. The kids are so excited to have a new brother. They all want to help take care of him. It feels like the Heyboer family is complete.

A higher rock
I really don't know why everyone wonders why I haven't had this baby yet. My track record for having babies on time hasn't been so stellar. These are the times that I am really coming closer to my Saviour as I know He is always in control. Psalm 61:2 has been a huge help to me "when my heart is overwhelmed lead me to the rock that is higher than I". Isn't that such a great encouragement. God is so much greater than any tiny trial we go through and if I just rely on Him He always brings me through. Quinn has started her craziness which means we are closer to having the baby. She is the child that knows when something is about to change and tends to become Jekel or is it Hyde which ever one is the crazy one. I love her dearly and I know the Lord can use even this quality in her life. We all went to Mooville tonight and enjoyed some icecream to escape the heat and when we came home Scott watered us all down with the hose. Well hope all is well

I need more patience
Hi everyone,
We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the little one although most likely he won't be very little. I am not enjoying the heat but trying to have a better attitude about it. Being content in the state that I am in is hard right now. Little Gideon is now out of pull-ups and moving on to his big boy undies. He is so proud. The girls are getting excited and pray every night that the baby will be born soon. My midwife said that we are close and that the baby is ready and in position so please continue to pray that the Lord keeps me and the little one safe and healthy and that I will have an extra dose of strength. Scott is busy as usual but he hopes to have most of the cultivating done before the baby.
We all celebrated the 4th at the lake with the usual crew and we had such a good time. Charlie made a new friend and never left the water all day. She is becoming quite a little water rat. The kids all got to go to grama's and grampa's and hang out with aunt Kimmy who they love so much. We are so blessed and have so much more than we could ever deserve. Thanks to everyone who has been praying we will keep you updated.
