a little laugh

Hi everyone,

We are getting down to the wire, Praise the Lord. The heat is doing me in but the kids have been a big help by hosing mommy down and pouring water over my feet. They don't seem to mind doing their part. I am so thankful that I have been healthy. This pregnancy minus the sciatic nerve issue has been the best one yet. Now for a little laugh. I took all the munchkins grocery shopping the other day and we had a lot to get, so after we purchased everything and headed out to the car in the 85 degree heat I began to buckle them all in and start the car and pop the hatch to put all the goodies in. I stood there for a minute to get my breath and just relax and Charlie who has an obsession lately with talking in a southern accent turned around and said "come on you lazy longhorn" (this is a line from one of her patch cd's). I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants which isn't too hard to do nowadays (heehee). Praise the Lord for all the laughs my kids give me. Scott is so very busy planting the corn now that the rain has held off for a bit. Next on to the beans and then all the cultivating. I don't think a garden is in the plans this year but we will still have strawberries. I'll keep you all updated on the progress of the little one.
